Our last night in Bali, Indonesia, was a very special one. After we had previously spent the night in cozy Sanur, in a great centrally located hotel, we chose for a less central stay in Ubud. We stayed the last 2 nights in Three Gold Luxury Private Villas, a beautiful villa in the middle of the Indonesian rice fields. Read our experience now!
On our arrival we were very kindly welcomed by the owners. After a nice chat about our trip and after checking in it was time to go to our villa. As often happens in Indonesia, our suitcases were neatly taken by the staff and dropped off at our villa.

Balinese villa
Wow!! What a beautiful place to stay. The owners showed us the whole villa and also immediately told us that it is all brand new, it has only been available since 4 months.
The villa has a typical Balinese look. The spacious bedroom has a large bed with mosquito net, a TV, air conditioning and a bench where you can sit.
Showering in the open air
Through a door you enter a room that is not yet the bathroom, but where a spacious washbasin with large mirror can be found. If you walk further and open the sliding doors you will end up in the bathroom. A beautiful Balinese bathroom, with rain shower, bath and toilet. This bathroom has plants and the roof is partly open, so you really have the feeling that you are showering in the open air. How Balinese do you want it to be? 🙂
Between the rice fields
The spacious garden that belongs to the villa is also a paradise. First of all, it is fantastic that you have a view of the rice fields. During the day you can see (if you are lucky) the people working in the fields and in the evening you can enjoy the frog concert.
Private pool
In addition, the garden is located in such a way that you have complete privacy. So nice if you take a dip in your private pool.
There is also a large covered terrace with table, chairs, lounge sofa and even an outdoor kitchen with fridge. What a luxury!
Mie Goreng delivery service
The complex consists of 5 villas and also has a restaurant, where you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is really great! For example, you can enjoy Nasi Goreng or Mie Goreng, delicious dishes that are prepared with love. You can choose to sit in the restaurant, but they also offer to eat the food and drinks at your villa. The perfect holiday feeling, isn’t it?
Three Gold Luxury Private Villas is a place we will definitely return to. It is the perfect place to completely relax and enjoy the sun, good food and the rice fields. We felt very spoiled and will definitely miss this place! Hope to see you soon Bali!
